This course is a companion to the DBT Skills Practice Through Art workbook for Youth & Young Adults – Advanced. (The workbook is sold separately and can be downloaded any time from the Workbooks section). It draws on the clinical work of Marsha Linehan, Sheri Van Dijk, Julie Brown, Jean Eich, and Susan Clark, and delivers the four core DBT skill modules — Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Interpersonal Effectiveness, and Distress Tolerance — through guided instruction, art-based activities, and reflective exercises. Each skill module is followed by a set of art activities that give you a hands-on way to practise and process what you are learning. You work through the material at your own pace and can return to any activity as many times as you need.
